Talking about processes is useful and a detailed explanation about how and why things are done is always helpful; however, sometimes its even more illuminating – not to mention demystifying – to simply see the work itself. To actually get a peek behind the curtain, so to speak. With that in mind, I’d like to share the full, annotated RELAUNCH script.
In this first RELAUNCH script Dan and I were still defining exactly how “dashboard” storytelling would move from concept to reality so you’ll see a fair number of back-and-forth execution notes and ideas that went into the decision making process for the final comic. You’ll also find notes about character design, settings and other artistic decisions mixed in among the panel description and dialogue. Enjoy!
